Yep, I did it again, I found something I like to do, and of course like with quilting when I start something there's no stopping. My sister in-law and her family came over for a long weekend visit, so this was an ideal project to keep busy while catting. The men kept busy playing golf, either for real on the golf cource or on the x-box, so my sister in-law wanted to join in, and bought her own startup stash of colourful yarns. It was quite fun showing her how to make these little sunburst granny squares, and before long, we both were crocheting like there's no tomorrow.
I really like how they came together, all I tried to do was to not repeat the same colour layout.
Sew now

Happy quilting.
Gorgeous Marelize, I'm loving watching your crochet via Instagram! How's your golfing injury? :)
ReplyDeleteLove those granny squares and the colour combos you are coming up with. Funny that there is a crochet version and a quilt block version with the same name!
ReplyDeleteVery cute granny squares. I've knitted for about 20 years now and still can't seem to crochet! I get lost without a second needle/object in my other hand. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteDangerous adding new hobbies:)They look great though!
ReplyDeleteReally nice granny squares. I crochet as well.
ReplyDeleteI love those granny squares. I learned the basics of crochet with the idea of someday making a blanket like that, but so far I haven't taken the plunge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your time in organizing the link up! I've added you button to my blog.
