Diamond block, -the way its intended UPDATE

If you go back to my previous post "Diamond block -the way its intended" you'll see what a mess I've made of a block which should be so simple.  I completely went at it all wrong, and I'm so glad I went back to change it.

Here is a sneak peak of my quilt.  I've finished basting it this afternoon, and I will start quilting tomorrow.

Happy quilting

    1. I've made my own stencil, its sort of a mix between a flower and a leaf..

  2. Love your colors and love this block! I love that you added the polka dot purple for your border. It already looks so nice! Can't wait to see it done!

    1. I shared her video tutorial on my facebook page just a few days ago and decided to give it try. So far I've been doing all my basting on the floor, and by the time I was done, my whole body ached. Its easy, and works great, my boards are still a bit long, but I think I'll keep it the length it is, just in case I make a bigger quilt one day.
