Learning new free motion quilting designs is always fun, especially when you see that what you where nervous about or scared to try out is not even close to being hard.
I took Angela Walter's Free motion quilting with feathers class on craftsy, and after watching ALL the videos I jumped right in and started quilting Kayleigh's new (but old) quilt. Its made with Kayleigh old flannel blankets so it already has that 'used' look, and I love it!
I really like feathers and I am more than certain I will try it in many different ways.

ReplyDeleteI love this...did you do the feathers first and then the swirls or is this one continuous design? You did a fantastic job...I imagine Angela Walters class would be excellent. I bought her book 'Freemotion Quilting' last year and have learned heaps from it.
