If you go back to my previous post "Diamond block -the way its intended" you'll see what a mess I've made of a block which should be so simple. I completely went at it all wrong, and I'm so glad I went back to change it.
Here is a sneak peak of my quilt. I've finished basting it this afternoon, and I will start quilting tomorrow.
Happy quilting

Looks wonderful, how are you going to quilt it?
Love your colors and love this block! I love that you added the polka dot purple for your border. It already looks so nice! Can't wait to see it done!
That is a beautiful quilt.

Oh cool you are using the boards to baste, I watched the tutorial by Sharon Schamber about this and I've been wanting to try it, does it work really well?
I shared her video tutorial on my facebook page just a few days ago and decided to give it try. So far I've been doing all my basting on the floor, and by the time I was done, my whole body ached. Its easy, and works great, my boards are still a bit long, but I think I'll keep it the length it is, just in case I make a bigger quilt one day.
I've made my own stencil, its sort of a mix between a flower and a leaf..
Thanks Rosemary, I hope to get it done soon.
